We would like to introduce you to ReUse Jersey City, an innovative public-private partnership launching this Spring to reduce disposable plastic bag usage in Jersey City WHILE raising money for Jersey City schools and charities. We are confident that Jersey City will be seen as a trailblazer throughout New Jersey as well as nationally for creating a reuse program model that combines civic, corporate, and charitable engagement.
Please join us on Thursday, March 27 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Goldman Sachs to learn about the new citywide program that brings together local public officials, retailers, corporations, schools and non-profits to inspire Jersey City residents to reduce the number of plastic bags they use – every bag saved is a money raised for a participating local school or non-profit and helps minimize our environmental footprint. It is just plain good for our community and we hope you will come to learn more about the program and how you can get involved. Here are some potential ways we’ll cover in the meeting:
