Senator Booker is hosting the first ever Latino Small Business Forum & Resource Fair. This event will focus on Latino-owned small businesses, and will take place on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Culinary Conference Center at Hudson County Community College: 161 Newkirk St, Jersey City, NJ 07306
The event will include a panel discussion as well as breakout sessions. Owners of businesses at every point of development – from the newly created to established companies – are encouraged to attend. State representatives, officials from the Small Business Administration and its resource partners, as well as lenders of varying sizes, will be in attendance to guide meaningful discussion and answer questions during the panel and the breakout sessions. Speakers will address access to capital and federal contracting opportunities, among other topics. There is also a one-hour networking session.
Senator Booker is excited to host this small business forum that will marshal federal government and private resources to help New Jersey business owners do what they do best.
