With featured speakers:

  • Margaret Newman has practiced architecture in New York City for over 15 years.  Since 2007, she has served as Chief of Staff at the NYC Department of Transportation under Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan.   Ms. Newman has provided coordination for major agency projects, design overview and project direction for DOT’s Urban Design and Art Division, with a focus on sustainable design.  As a certified LEED professional, Ms. Newman’s work on developing and implementing the City’s Green Infrastructure initiatives included new standards for the use of sustainable materials and LED lighting across the five boroughs. Prior to joining DOT, Newman was a partner in Marren and Newman Architects, a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm located in New York City.  A Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, she received a B.A. in Visual Arts from Bennington College and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton University.
  • James F. Murphy has been working innovative technologies since the 2001 where he quickly became aware of developing strategic partnerships while working at a Data Center in New Jersey (USA). Since early 2014, James has been working with P3 Global Management Inc. (P3GM) where he bringing his experience, insight and reach to their global scope within the United Nations and abroad. P3GM is a smart city infrastructure development and advisory firm currently operating in the U.S. and Latin America and Asia.
  • Sergio Fernández de Córdova is a Peruvian Born, internationally recognized entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist working at the intersection of media and leveraging public-private partnerships for social impact. In 2011, he co-founded IMGH - Infrastructure Media Group Holdings, a holding company focused on global infrastructure, energy, commodities and public-private partnerships which launched P3 Global Management (P3GM, p3gm.com) a Public-Private Partnership company, enhancing cities through continuous innovation by Investing in municipal infrastructure.
