The New York Fed and FDIC will co-sponsor an evening workshop for existing and aspiring small business owners in Jersey City, New Jersey, interested in learning about various sources of financing as well as the process of borrowing. Attendees will hear from lenders and experts on the many stages of borrowing and learn where to go and when. There will be a resource expo held after the workshop. Learn: • How to make sense of today’s lending options • How nonprofit agencies can help you access capital for your business • What type of financing is most appropriate for you • What lending products these organizations are offering • How you can improve your chances for success in getting the capital you need Featured speakers include Steven Gomez, Executive Director, Greater Newark Enterprises, Richard Garcia, Vice President, North Jersey Federal Credit Union, Preston D. Pinkett, III, Chairman and CEO, City National Bank, Frank Erwin, President and Co-Founder, Infusion Funding, and Walter K. Booker, Chief Operating Officer, Intellectual Capital Group.
