Emerald's Bikes for Kids

Dear Members of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce,
 
As a new Hudson Chamber County Chamber member and co-Founder of "Emerald’s Hispanic Advisory team”. I wish to take the opportunity to invite all the members of the Hudson County of Commerce to participate in our upcoming “Emerald’s Bikes 4 kids event”. This is an annual event that my company created 5 years ago. The event is an opportunity to give back to the community and help promote better healthy activities by donating bicycles for kid’s from families with low income. The event will take place on April 5th at the Jose Marti Academy in Union City N.J.   As of today my team has been able to raise over $20,000 to be able to donate bicycles, helmets and locks to the children grades 1-5 in the Union City School System where over 8 schools participating in the contest.  We received over 400 applications for Bicycles and we need to raise $7,500 to make sure every kid receives a bike. In many cases these children have never had a bicycle and they are extremely excited to have been chosen.
 
This would be a great venue for you to showcase your Organization.  Since there are over 300 children who are receiving bikes, we expect at least 600 parents as well as the Staff & Faculty and local dignitaries of the Union City School System which is comprised of over 16 schools on total.
