CHAMBER PROGRAM: MONTHLY CEO ROUNDTABLE


 

It?s lonely at the top! Are you looking for an opportunity to connect with other CEOs in Hudson County and talk about business issues? Are you craving a small network of peers that you can turn to for on-going, confidential advice on increasing profitability, succession planning, leadership, employee management, marketing, and the many other issues that you deal with on a daily basis?  We want to help you grow your business!

The goal of the Hudson County CEO Roundtable is to facilitate valuable, confidential, peer-to-peer advice and networking among local CEOs and C-suite executives that will help them grow their businesses. This is a new Chamber program that will be facilitated by a professional business coach, who will serve as a resource for participants to attain the information and support that they need.

How it works?

We plan to model the Hudson County CEO Roundtable on similar CEO peer-to-peer groups operating successfully throughout the country, but customized for small- and medium-sized businesses in our region. The group will be limited to 8 - 12 CEOs, presidents or primary decision makers from non-competing companies. Members of the Roundtable will meet monthly to seek and provide business advice, and help each other improve the quality of their business decisions. The meetings are controlled by participants. Participating CEOs decide on the agenda for the meetings, structure, the location and time of the monthly meetings and even who should be allowed into group. No competitors are permitted within the group. Ethan Chazin, a professional facilitator, will help keep the meetings on track, assist in guiding the discussions and finding outside speakers when the group wants to bring in experts for advice on an issue. The CEO Roundtable program is not intended to provide sales leads. Participants should:

  • Lead companies with minimum sales revenues of approximately $300,000 and a maximum of approximately $10,000,000.
  • Lead companies located within the Hudson County area that employ a minimum of three employees.
  • Come from established companies, with a minimum of two years of operation.
  • Commit to regularly attend monthly meetings.
  • Agree to be honest and accountable to the group.

The process of being accepted for this group will be selective (only those that can benefit and who are willing to commit to the program will be selected.) The annual cost is $399 for Chamber members and $699 for all other general admission participants.

About our facilitator, Ethan Chazin:
  • Prior to launching The Chazin Group in 2009, Ethan spent 20+ years in corporate America leading marketing and sales teams through significant transformation;
  • Ethan helped form the Hoboken Gold Coast chapter of BNI, served as a Vice President of the Hoboken Rotary, and has been a member of the Hoboken and Hudson County Chambers of Commerce;
  • He coached/conducted and trained over 750 organizations and conducted professional training and development programs to over 12,000 individuals.
  • Authored the book: Bulletproof Your Career in Turbulent Times
  • Has taught as an Adjunct professor at Hunter, Baruch, Fordham, St. John's, NYU Polytechnic, Saint Peters, and Stevens institute of Technology and conducted career-related talks at over 50 colleges and Universities.
