We're partnering with Fairleigh Dickinson University to extend an invitation to our Chamber members interested in learning more about Cuba!
This seminar is designed to provide an historical overview of relations with Cuba leading up to the action taken by President Obama. We will review the latest regulations. In addition we will have a presentation by a representative of Marazul, the U.S. oldest and most experienced Charter & Travel Agency to Cuba. Since 1979, they have sent more than 300,000 licensed travelers to Cuba. Lastly Professor Samuel Raphalides will share his experience in a recent trip to Cuba with several students.

Dr. Emily Morris, Research Associate, University College, London Institute of the Americas. Dr. Morris was Senior Editor/Economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit. She served as a member of the Latin America 'Country Analysis and Forecasting' team for 13 years, before returning to university work. At the University College London one of her main research areas, on which she has worked for many years, is the economic transformation of Cuba |
