The Breakfast Club
Chamber Members are invited to join us for our monthly networking and referral meetings. If you've been wanting a venue to grow your referral network, The Breakfast Club is for you! Breakfast Club meetings are open to Chamber Members only (members who are in good standing!). Meetings will provide Members the opportunity to pitch their business, help each other to make referrals, and hear from guest speakers.
The Breakfast Club is run by Members for Members! Non-members can attend only as guests of Members. Members receive points for attending meetings, making referrals, and inviting non-member guests. Each quarter the highest points winner will receive a prize. Meetings are held on the third Friday morning every month. In 2018, our meetings will be held at Halifax at the W Hotel Hoboken.
September's Meeting
We will engage in our round robin introductions and move into a discussion of The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. The Go-Giver tells the story of an ambitious young man named Joe who yearns for success. Joe is a true go-getter, though sometimes he feels as if the harder and faster he works, the further away his goals seem to be. Desperate to land a key sale at the end of a bad quarter, he seeks advice from the enigmatic Pindar, a legendary consultant referred to by his many devotees simply as the Chairman. Joe learns that changing his focus from getting to giving—putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives—ultimately leads to unexpected returns.
