Alternatives to Violence Training at WomenRising, Inc.

WomenRising is holding Alternative to Violence Project (AVP) training sessions at WomenRising, 270 Fairmount Avenue, Jersey City on the evening of Friday, September 12, Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th from 9 AM-5 PM.

These training sessions are targeted to participants from community groups, schools, congregations, non-profits, businesses and government agencies.  Participants need to commit to the full weekend of training. 

We invite participants to join a steering committee to develop Jersey City core of trainers and increase the number of potential leaders who are enpowered to manage and resolve conflict in a non-violent manner.
